Overview
Taxonomy Server is a hub for storing and managing enterprise taxonomies. With a published API and service oriented model, it is easily integrated with most enterprise search engines.
Taxonomy Library
The Taxonomy Library is a storage area for taxonomies. Manage multiple taxonomies, add and delete nodes and test results in real-time.
Taxonomy Pipeline
The taxonomy pipeline provides an API and mechanism for matching taxonomy rules against documents as they are being imported to data repositories. Any application that supports making web service calls can use the pipeline to add metadata to documents.
Document Profiler
The document profiler is the core of Taxonomy Server function. It can extract text from various document formats, including PDF, Microsoft Office and HTML.
As documents pass through the profiler, they are matched against all active taxonomy node rules. Those rules that match add their corresponding taxonomy node to the metadata stream for the document, which is passed back to the caller.
Multiple APIs including a native .Net API, a RESTful API and web services API.
Command line interface
Many people prefer using a command line interface to integrate with server tools. AR.Command provides a traditional terminal-based environment for interacting with AR.TxServer. Automate repetitive tasks with old-fashioned windows command-line batch scripts.
Taxonomy Console
Windows Interface for testing and displaying taxonomy information and filtered documents.
